Students will practice evaluating limits written in the indeterminate form using the following techniques: factoring, complex fractions, rationalizing, multiplying-out, special trigonometric functions, piecewise defined limits, and absolute value limits.

This product includes 7 worksheets (one worksheet for each of the topics listed above). Each activity consist of 4 questions. For each number, students choose “This” or “That” question to answer.

There are many benefits to “This or That” Activities, here are just a few:
Personalize Learning: Students feel an ownership of their work when they get to choose which problems to work.
Perseverance: With traditional worksheets, if a student starts a problem and gets stuck, they will give up. But with another option there, students will try the other option.
Fun: Student find “This or That” worksheets more fun then traditional practice.
Practice and Revision: If a student is struggling with a concept, the teacher can illustrate the process by solving the “This” problem with the student. Then they can assign the “That” problem for the student to practice the new skill.
