Children study 2 explanation texts on presentation (either ppt or Smartboard. The texts are - 'How a spider builds a web' and 'How a spider catches its prey & eats it'. After finding the features in these texts, the children write their own explanation - 'How the alien from Zog captures its prey and eats it'. Plans, checklists and differentiated planning sheets are included as well as a detailed presentation. Everything is fully editable.
