The story needs some prep work prior, but can be used again and again & is adapted to support student learning.Students will read a story about visiting a pumpkin patch. Followup with a story map, ordering by size, sorting by size & clip cards
Book 2: How to carve a jack-o-lantern
Introduce vocabulary related to carving a jack-o-lantern then read the story. The story needs some prep work prior, but can be used again and again & is adapted to support student learning. Follow up by completing steps to carve a pumpkin, designing a pumpkin art & writing prompts.
