This is a fully resourced lesson for Find the difference - Step 8 of the Year 1 White Rose Maths Spring Block 2 - Addition and Subtraction. It uses concrete and pictorial aspects to support the children’s understanding of finding the difference between two numbers within 20 and subtracting. It is one of my more successful lessons with very positive feedback from SLT.
