IAL FP1 Coordinate Systems (WFM01) – Edexcel IAL Unit 4: 2 Editable Lessons, Worksheets & Test

A complete, original teaching unit for Unit 4 of the Pearson Edexcel International A Level Further Pure Mathematics 1 (WFM01) specification, following Pearson’s IAL FP1 scheme of work. Two lessons cover the parabola and rectangular hyperbola in Cartesian and parametric form, with the focus–directrix property; and tangents and normals, including the general results. Each lesson opens with a starter that checks prior knowledge, then has an editable PowerPoint with worked examples set out as the mark scheme expects, diagrams where they help, practice with answer slides, exam technique, speaker notes and an exit ticket, plus a worksheet with full answers.
