Fractions Chocolate Bar Game (Functional Skills/SEND/KS2 Maths)

A fun game to help your Maths students recall their fractions knowledge.
Perfect for a starter, end of lesson game or revision session.

PDF includes the chocolate bar sheet for students to colour as well as the question cards to print and cut out.

Aim of the game: Students must answer the cards correctly to colour in their entire chocolate bar. First person to fill in their chocolate bar wins.

Rules:
• Split into pairs/teams (or work on your own if you want to challenge yourself!)
• Place the pile of question cards face down.
• The other team will ask you a question. They will give options for the answers.
• If you get the answer right, look at the fraction on the bottom of your card.
• The fraction is the number of squares you can colour in (see help box).
• If you run out of cards, shuffle and turn them over again.
• The first team to completely colour in their whole bar is the winner!

I made this for my SEND Maths group and they enjoyed completing this in pairs.
