This easy to play 30 minute dice game is a fun way to practice the irregular French verbs ÊTRE - ALLER - AVOIR - FAIRE in 6 different tenses:

- present tense
- passé composé
- imperfect
- futur simple
- conditional
- present subjunctive

These four verbs are the most essential and often the most difficult for students to memorize, so I like to provide many different activities to keep it fun and fresh. You can start using this game with your beginner students and continue to use it to review these verbs as you teach new tenses.

My high school students love this game, and it can get very competitive if you decide to play it as a race (details are explained with the activity).

Students divide up into teams and play a dice game, the dice determining which subject and infinitive to conjugate in the indicated tense.

Included with this activity:

How to play
Six different versions of the game with answers
Student response and scoring sheet
