Complete lesson - Lesson plan (suitable for cover or teacher taught), PowerPoint including discussion on how a chocolate cake could be made 'healthier' with a design task to create a new, healthy cake with accompanying levels, 'how to label your cake' activity and plenary peer assessment task. Worksheet giving students opportunity to suggest 'healthier' ingredients and 'labels checklist' for students to independently label their healthy cake designs. Worksheet included that can be used to help students self assess & meet level requirements. Cakes can then be made from student's designs the following lesson!
