This resource includes three students booklets:

  • An introduction to On Liberty and the concept of freedom
  • A study guide which goes through each of the five chapters of Mill’s On Liberty
  • An evaluation guide to On Liberty exploring different scholars ideas
  • A worksheet on key quotes from chapter 3
  • A document of all past paper questions
  • A game of articulate with a mix of key words and ideas from the unit

There are also some answers provided for the chapter study guide and the evaluation (though please note these are not all completely answered).

I use this resource to teach the whole of the set text part of the IB philosophy course. It usually takes me the majority of the academic year with reading of the text completed both in lessons and as homework tasks.

Please note that if you like the style of my other resources, that the style of this resource is very different! The student booklets are all designed to be completed electronically, but this could be altered.

Happy teaching!
