Mystery neighbours - collect a bin bag full of clues to share with the class and see if they can solve the mystery - commented on as 'an exciting and engaging' lesson in a recent Ofsted (images of ideas for clues included). Paid for this item but some of the resources are hard to use and you would still need to create your own. Not sure if there is a resource missing? The Mystery Mail sheet looked really good and I was planning to use it this week but there is no example of mail to go with it.
