This resource looks at what binary numbers are, how they are used by the computer and how text, images sound and video are represented by binary code. The lessons have been produced for both KS3 and KS4 pupils serving as a good introduction into binary numbers for pupils following one of the new Computer Science or Computing GCSE’s which require pupils to convert binary numbers.
The resource also contains scaffolded worksheet that the pupils can work through individually or in a group.
