This is a chronological booklet of all the key philosophers named on the specification for OCR A-level Religious Studies (Philosophy, Ethics and Developments of Christian thought). It provides a brief ‘who’s who’ of each of the philosophers, listing them in chronological order and considering the different centuries of thought with a brief bio including their religion, key views and which unit they are named in.
There is space for students to use this to add to their own knowledge, for example by noting which other units scholars appear in and which scholars they agree most with. It could also be used as a handy revision tool and to support synoptic links being made, and also as a teaching tool for reference when students forget key philosophers!
