A useful resource for SEN students who are having difficulty interacting with others, a new class who are having problems socially or students with behavioural issues. The powerpoint leads the teacher and learner through the scheme. Worksheets are provided for each activity plus a full outline of the assessment criteria. A route to learning sheet is also included to help plot the learners progress. The short scheme will help learner understand and appreciate the variety of situations in which they interact with other people. It will help them to appreciate how to behave in order to encourage the interaction with family, friends, teachers etc, incorporating positive verbal and non-verbal behaviour. The scheme helps to show the value of positive behaviour in encouraging interaction. The scheme provides the opportunity for learners to actively participate in either real or simulated situations to put the theory into practice.
