Teacher resources for a 60 minute lesson on negligence in tort law with a focus on breach of duty -the risk factor in applying the objective test from e-lawresources. Contains a powerpoint and two worksheets (student and teacher copies with answers). There is a separate lesson on the objective test and the variations on it. The lesson is suitable for courses at level 3 including A level law, BTEC & law modules on Access to HE . The lesson accompanies the Youtube clip on the topic created by e-lawresources. The lesson should take approx 60 mins. In addition to the starter, there is a review activity, two activity sheets, video and a plenary consisting of two scenario questions for students to practice their application skills. There are suggested timings in the powerpoint at the end of the slide. There are links to further activities on the topic if you need to fill time.
