Print on cardstock and cut into cards; includes store names, French & English foods. Get 7 students to be merchants and station them around the room with their store sign. Merchants get the English cards appropriate for their store. The French cards (36) are divided among the remaining students in the class. The students with the French words must go to the correct store and ask for their item. The merchant replies voici with the name of the item.
