40 Exciting and Colourful Powerpoint Mental Starters to Develop Numeracy Skills.

10 powerpoints each for Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division.

Each presentation contains 20 questions (A screenshot of each powerpoint presentation is show below), with the answer appearing after each question, so pupils can be encouraged to give answers in a range of ways, such as whiteboards. These are suitable for pupils of varying ages and abilities, and more time can be given to younger or less able pupils to answer each question.

This is a zipped file, but I’ve also uploaded four of the powerpoints separately so that the preview shows some content. The cover image also give an idea of the screens in the powerpoints. Please note that the font used in the actual powerpoints is calibri (which isn’t showing correctly in the preview images).
