This is a lesson (for Year 9) aimed at engaging pupils with critically thinking about how to end poverty, the key solutions and obstacles/challenges to this aim; and whether it is achievable or not - having considered all the relevant practicalities.

The lesson would work particularly well towards the end of a module based on Religion, Charity, Wealth, and Inequality. It follows a lesson on Fairtrade, and has recall questions referring to this prior knowledge. Feel free to edit and adapt the resource to suit your own scheme of work.
