This is a resource pack aimed at higher candidates. There are 3 differentiated resources to build or revise vocabulary for problems at the hotel; the choice consists of a match up activity, a card sort or a written exercise to fill in the missing vowels,

The reading resources are adapted from www.triadvisor.fr there are 2 contrasting hotels each with 3 reviews. Pupils demonstrate understanding of the 6 reviews by answering 19 comprehension questions. Pupils also find 24 vocabulary phrases within the text. The vocabulary is ideal to adapt to use within written and spoken work. It also gives pupils the opportunity to seek out hotel reviews on www.tripadvisor.fr to improve their reading skills.

The vocabulary frame help students to write an account of a disappointing hotel stay. Alternatively it can be used with speaking work. It is a comprehensive frame with higher structures.
