These activities are designed for use in registration or tutorial time. There are 20 different riddles or puzzles. They are designed to encourage discussion, creativity, lateral thinking and logical deduction in students. The teacher should familiarise him/herself with the answer then show the class the challenge slide. The teacher will only answer “Yes” or “No” to the pupils attempts to discover/deduce the answer. Each activity is designed to last between 5 and 10 minutes and can be used to promote enjoyable competition between individual students and groups of students. The total presentation contains 43 slides and hyperlinks are embedded throughout the presentation.
