Scotland and the Great War: Technology on the Western Front (Lesson 3)

This is a Scottish National 4/5 History lesson on technology introduced and used on the Western Front in WWI. While the content is appropriate for experiences of soldiers from across Britain, some activities are tailored towards the Scottish examination system. As I operate a mixed class, there are activities designed for both National 4 and National 5 included within the lesson.

Students will complete a carousel task on the different technologies used and developed in WWI. Students will then complete practice source questions, a storyboard activity and finally a timed exam question for those attempting National 5.
