What are proverbs? – They are popular and anonymous sayings that summarize people wisdom and target to transmit some moral lesson or educational instruction. Sayings are an excellent tool for practicing our memory.
In this resource, you will find 23 of the most common Spanish proverbs in an interactive game (Pasapalabra/El rosco de palabras type) following the alphabet. Students will read the saying that has one missing word starting with the correspond letter. Then they will have to guess it. Being a self-checking activity means that they can check the correct answer. In addition, they can read the meaning of that proverb.
