This is a 3 week unit based on a fiction, wishing tale called The Magic Shell. It would fit in nicely in the Spring term or at the start of the Summer term because the toolkit stretches the more able children helping them to achieve greater depth.

Toolikit - inverted commas, different words for said, question and exclamation marks.

Week 1 - Immitation
Children orally rehearse the story the story of The Magic Shell, they work on the toolkit for the unit and box up the story to learn the structure.
