A fun, practical fusion of reading comprehension and Maths, the children will be super engaged with these hands-on and practical equal sharing investigations. A fun way to introduce (or review) division; this lesson also includes the option to extend learning to ‘remainders’ and invites lots of interesting and funny discussion about what you can do with any left over smarties/cookies!

- A small bowl of chocolate chips per pair OR small pieces of brown lego OR brown paint and brushes
- 6 x paper plates per group of 3/4
- A tube of smarties per group of 3/4
