Presentation designed to be used in a number of ways.
The presentation can be used as a stand alone starter or plenary activity to focus concentration and provide a springboard for research activities. The presentation can, by use of printable sheets on slides 24 – 33, be used to support non specialist or cover staff or provide a source of homework tasks or extension/enrichment activities. Presentation contains 10 challenges that follow the same format. Focus is encouraged by the embedded 1 minute task timer and an element of competition between groups/individuals is naturally created. * extra time can be allowed by freezing image on white board. Whole presentation contains 34 slides and is best used on an interactive /whiteboard.
