I am sorry you feel this way, at our school the students make the notes from the next book before the lesson, this is why it is task based to help them master their understanding. I used the WJEC guidance in my planning and knowledge from SPD courses. I would be more than happy to email you a copy of the student workbook if you do not have one. I suggest the napier one, the WJEC one is very vague.
