Scheme of Work Content:
Linking with the NC Programme of Study for Science, Year 3 pupils will look at the main parts of the body and create a dance inspired by the skeleton.

They will explore how the different joints in the body move, how to perform isolated movements, and get creative by moving into and out of different shapes.

Pupils will be taught a skeleton dance and develop their own short movement sequences based on the theme. These sequences will be improved by the use of some simple choreographic devices.
