DRUM KIT | 5 Popular Songs for Beginners

DRUM KIT | 5 Popular Songs for Beginners

Pieces have been simplified in both notation and technical ability. 1. Ruby - Kaiser Chiefs 2. Don't Look Back In Anger - Oasis 3. We Are The Champions - Queen 4. Rolling In The Deep - Adele 5. All Right Now - Free Note: The Tom positions have been changed to being on the lines (instead of in between) as I have reduced the stave down to 3 lines and pupils have stated they find this easier for identifying Toms with them having a line through them.

Music display pack- instruments, orchestra, notes

Music display pack- instruments, orchestra, notes

This Music pack is great for KS1 and KS2. It contains lots of ideas and display materials which would look great in a music room or in a music area in your classroom. The pictures and ideas would also be great for music lessons and discussions. The pack includes: A display title 'Music' which is decorated with music notes, Black and white drawings of lots of different musical instruments used in an orchestra- these have the instrument name on as well, A4 sized pictures of the instruments- these are great for displays and also for the children to colour in, Black and white and colour drawings of classroom percussion instruments, Two different music themed display borders- one with music and the other with small drawings of instruments- these can be printed as many times as you need for a display board of any size, Pictures of music notes and their names, Some simple rhymes to get you started, and a blank bordered page for you to write your own rhymes- these would look good made up in a book, Some idea lesson cards for teaching rhythm etc, Information cards about the different types of instruments, lots of question cards with questions to think about when listening to music- these would be good as prompt cards when listening to music in class or for display in a listening area in the classroom, Lots of cards with music themed words- these are all decorated with music.

Google Slides Interactive Music Rhythm Game Megan's Musical Mansion

Google Slides Interactive Music Rhythm Game Megan's Musical Mansion

Megan's Musical Mansion is an interactive music rhythm game created for Google Slides and/ or Adobe PDF . This virtual dollhouse is a rhythm game to help students practice music rhythms and provide teachers an opportunity to assess students in the process. These rhythms include patterns using quarter notes, half notes, double eighth notes, quarter rests and half rests. As your students visit each room of the mansion to search for the missing pages of music, they are given over 130 examples of rhythms to practice. Each room in the house is like a mini game. This gives your students ample opportunities to practice their rhythms and have several turns each! Students search for Megan's sheet music throughout the house. After playing the game with my students, I have added extra sheets of music in each room to ensure that the kids aren't disappointed once one sheet is found! This game can be projected for a whole group to play or played on a tablet for individual or small group work. It can be played over one or several class periods. LOTS of content here! It is a great way to integrate technology into the classroom or differentiate instruction. It also helps students (especially second language learners develop language skills and vocabulary development. But, most importantly, it provides lots of fun while learning about music! When designing this product, I was thinking of how my own students love to take turns playing games in my class. They can’t get enough of it and always want “another turn.” This product has plenty of opportunities for students to have several turns during one class, or over several class periods. This game can be projected for a class to play at once or used on an iPad or tablet for individual for small group/center play. It can be assigned through Google Classroom as a way to practice skills independently. It takes the place of flash cards! Each location is like a mini game It can be played over one or several class periods. LOTS of content here! I hope your students enjoy Wizards and Witches Interactive Music Note Reading Game as much as my students have!
