FRENCH CHRISTMAS BINGO

FRENCH CHRISTMAS BINGO

GAMES WITH GOALS! LOTS OF FESTIVE FUN WITH THESE FRENCH CHRISTMAS DIFFERENTIATED BINGO GAMES! BINGO! really is an ideal activity for developing listening, speaking, reading and writing/spelling skills in FRENCH. This pack includes includes 10 non-editable files and 130 BINGO grids: 40 picture-only bingo 12-square grids, 4 per page (10 pages). You can give students a random selection of pages, with students selecting the order of grids they play from. You can also cut out the grids, and place them in a small bowl or similar object on tables. Students select grids randomly from the bowl. Depending on the size of your class, you should have several winners per game! You might prefer to laminate the grids, especially if you are printing in colour - students can use wipe-clean pens, and you can recycle the grids many times. Colour and B&W. 40 French word-only bingo 12-square grids, 4 per page (10 pages). Colour & B&W. 40 English word-only bingo 12-square grids, 4 per page (10 pages). Colour & B&W. 4 12-square grid template for students to create their own word or picture grids for each other. B&W. 10 jumbo picture-only 24-square grids. Distribute the grids among students, several grids per student. Colour & B&W. 1 French and 1 English calling card, with all the words written in full. These games are designed for players to cross off all the words or pictures on their grids in order to win the game. GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR FRENCH CHRISTMAS BINGO! Before playing, read all the words out loud in FRENCH several times, with students repeating carefully - this not only helps students develop their FRENCH pronunciation, but also introduces them to words they may not actually know. Students can also have their own calling card to read out loud from - this will help them to link sound and spelling in FRENCH. The words focus on definite and indefinite article, plural and singular, masculine and feminine, maximising opportunity to practise grammatical concepts too. Create BINGO teams, each with a CHRISTMAS team name - playing competitively in teams keeps up a lively pace! For each game, select a different CHRISTMAS word as the ‘winning word’ for students to call out when they win the game. Students must recite all the words in their grids to check that they have actually won - also giving another opportunity for practising language. As you call out words, remember to tick them on your calling card so that you can check the winners’ words - you’ll be able to use the same calling card for multiple games. Let students be the bingo caller too. Please read the TERMS OF USE carefully - the resource is copyright, and for single-teacher/purchaser use only. MERCI BEAUCOUP ET JOYEUX NOËL!

French- Anti-Bullying Week- Semaine Contre l'intimidation

French- Anti-Bullying Week- Semaine Contre l'intimidation

Encourage your students to find reasons to respect each other. In this presentation, they have to imagine a future where "someone" will help them and imagine that maybe today that same "someone" is being bullied. Would they have bullied that "someone" if they would have known the future? Everyone has the potential to help or even save someone else's life. There is an activity with examples for your students to draw or write about an imaginary future and two present situations (one bullying and one not bullying/ respect). There are clear examples of structured sentences, working on present tense, infinitive and present participle)
