KS3 Spa Viva 1 Module 3.3 to 3.5 plus Assessment Revision Lesson 75 min - 4 resources

This completes the third module of Year 7 using the Viva 1 textbook as a basis for the course. Two lessons are available for 3.1 and 3.2 with this bundle combining 3.3, 3.4, 3.5 and a revision lesson for the assessments. My 75-minute lessons are very structured with clear learning objectives and learning checks for each lesson objective. The learning objectives go over the two lessons and the lessons reference each other to reinforce learning. The objectives can be edited to reflect the KS3 assessment system in your school, allowing you to customise the learning for your pupils. Each lesson is easy enough to edit into 2 lessons if you teach hour-long lessons or lesson plus extension activities. Best when used with the textbook and the electronic resources.

MARÍA LLENA ERES DE GRACIA - THREE A- LEVEL LANGUAGE TASKS

MARÍA LLENA ERES DE GRACIA - THREE A- LEVEL LANGUAGE TASKS

Three tasks relating to the great film María llena eres de gracia, a film that can be studied for the AQA A-level. These resources would work well immediately after an initial viewing of the film. One is a PowerPoint with sentences requiring students to translate into Spanish, another a Word document with a brief plot synopsis requiring translation into English. The final task is an activity requiring students to match sentence starters to the correct endings, relating to various events that take place in the film. Very nicely presented and with a great flow between activities.

SPANISH A LEVEL INTRO for literature study -Javier Marías short story-

SPANISH A LEVEL INTRO for literature study -Javier Marías short story-

These activities offer a rare and ideal opportunity to expose students to authentic, quality Spanish literature and the translation techniques required for A-level, all of which can be done in a sequence of no more than 2-3 lessons. En el viaje de novios is a (very) short story by Javier Marías that will hold students’ attention throughout, and the two extended activities that follow are pitched at exactly the right level for the A-level course, requiring vocabulary from the story and knowledge of a range of grammar points.
