Simple display cards to get your room and your students in the festive Irish spirit. My students love St. Patrick's Day and the display is nice when surrounded by students work. Alternatively use the activity attached also. I use these as a game first to introduce the vocabulary to my students. They are placed around my room and students are given a list of St. Patrick's Day vocabulary in English. They then have to find the Spanish equivalent. It's nice to watch students discover the vocabulary themselves as opposed to looking at a PowerPoint and writing everything down in a vocabulary book. Once the lesson is finished they can go onto a display board. Please note this is a .pdf only

This is a resource for lower ability students. It contains 12 words that students will use in a variety of manners and hopefully will know by the end of the activities. This is a resource to help teach the topic of prepositional pronouns in Irish. It contains a list of the most common prepositional pronouns in Irish and also two sheets with the most common phrases associated to each one. I use this resource as a revision for my KS4 groups. It is a simple PowerPoint that states the rules of the Conditional Tense in Spanish. With the PowerPoint I have attached a booklet to aid with the lesson. The booklet contains the following: - 4 activities that students can complete in lesson or as homework / revision. (Fill in the gaps x 2, translate sentence and write a paragraph) - A notes sheet on the formation of the tense - A notes sheet on the most common irregular verbs. This lesson focuses on what the features of a Catholic Church are. It is suitable for KS3. In school we use the accelerated learning cycle to teach our subjects so please feel free to change 'Connect' to 'Starter' and 'Consolidate' to 'Pleanary'. Writing a 'Post Card' in Irish is an integral part of the Junior Certificate (GCSE) exam. This PowerPoint contains absolutely everything a student needs in order to be able to answer that question and obtain full marks.
