This activity pack is great for getting students to improve their literacy and engage in creative and critical thinking. This Maya, Inca and Aztec mini unit is stand alone with not prep required from the teacher. Created on Google Slides, this pack allows students to work together in breakout rooms to brainstorm theories about the sudden Maya decline. Students will be busy enhancing their geographic skills, as well their higher order thinking as they rank the reasons for the fall of the Inca. The whole pack is interactive in present mode with several links that take students to various sites to get a real visual understanding of these great civilizations.

This Native American Cultures activity pack is action packed and would likely have your students exploring, reading, creating and critically thinking for two weeks or longer. A basic overview of six Native American groups is provided and most key words are hyperlinked to photos or definitions online. The resources and activities inside emphasize skill building, critical thinking, cross curricular connections, literacy and digital literacy.
