Primary School Reading & Solving Word Problems in Math
Simple word problems which allow students to determine which mathematical operation to apply in order to solve.
An excellent resource to use to have students work on their mathematical language. The teacher could brainstorm different synonyms for the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division then provide the worksheet as an application. Students could then be asked to write their own questions.
ALGEBRA LITERACY SUMMARY
