This lesson aims to continue to explore the transatlantic slave trade with an emphasis on the Middle Passage and slave transportation. Students will be exploring the lesson with a particular emphasis on empathy and emotional understanding of the slave journey across the Atlantic. The lesson is part of the History National Curriculum for the United Kingdom under Expansion of the British Empire.
