The worksheets included in this bundle are designed to engage EAL/SEN/Lower ability students. It is very much based on the acquisition of key words related to the Battle of Hastings in 1066 and exploring some of the reasons why William won (Spoilers) within differentiated activities that provide scaffolding and some challenge tasks. Works well in three one- hour lessons and in a primary setting. Included are: 1. Word search with key words and pictures 2. Paired/collaboration activities 3. The main activity looks to reveal to students the difficultly in making a judgement on modern Christian's after life destination based on Biblical quotes on how to lead your life. SMSC has been considered with reflection opportunities within the lesson, with a focus on core British Values such as tolerance.
