I created this lesson for a science lesson observation for Year 5. It is well resourced and differentiated through the use of Bloom's taxonomy questions. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching this lesson and the progress the children made was very clear throughout the lesson. Be prepared to get wet and I recommend having kitchen towel on hand! Have fun!

Practical lesson which will require some additional resources but easy to find. i.e. bucket of water with a rubber duck/ or boat on it. The lesson supports the children’s understanding of drawing scientific diagrams and using arrow sizes and directions accurately. It was a great lesson which I really enjoyed teaching and my children made great progress within it, many moving onto harder challenges throughout the lesson.
