Five questions dealing with simple atomic structure ideas. Ideal resources to use as a homework, short class activity or even a low stakes mini-test. Hope it helps your students.
A key ideas resource that I use with my year 12 (UK) students to summerise the different ways they could be asked about chemical tests in their AQA As Chemistry exams. They say it is useful, your students might like it to help them to revise.
6 questions (with answers) dealing with isotope exam style calculations. This resource is a perfect homework but could also be used as a mini low stakes test, lesson starter or just a plain old lesson activity. Enjoy.
8 questions (with answers) based upon exam questions that you can give to students after you have finished teaching the basics of isotopes. This sheet is ideal as a homework or alternatively could be used as a task during your lesson.
A 73 slide PowerPoint covering OCR Chemistry A Specification points 2.1.1(a - e). I have added exam style questions, with answers, so that students can practice articulating their new knowledge and develop their skills.
This is a spreadsheet containing an analysis of all AQA Combined Chemistry paper 1 higher papers 2017 – 2023.
I have recorded the number of marks for each question-part against each specification point covered by paper 1H. It allows for a very detailed look at how often each specification point comes up and how much weight each specification point has carried for within each paper and over all since the course began.
From this analysis it is very easy to make predictions for this years (2024) chemistry paper.

I used this last year for the first time and my year 11’s scored very well. 4 Matrix placed chemistry as the 2nd highest performing subject in the school and AQA placed our cohort very highly (much higher than in previous years).
