I created cards for students to use to learn new French idioms. (more than 100 idioms available!) Most of them are idioms but I also added some sayings commonly used in France. What I do is that I give one to each student, they write it down in their exercise book (French + English translation), if they manage to use it effectively in a writing or speaking, they can tick it off and get a new one.

Lessons on my physical description (j’ai les yeux / j’ai les cheveux) The second lesson focuses on negative structures to describe hair, eyes and personality. This lesson follows of a unit where I taught students how to introduce themselves, talk about their birthdays, where they live and languages they speak. Here is more information regarding lessons with PowerPoints you will find in my shop: Each lesson comes with a .doc booklet and a PowerPoint with answers included to make your life easier. Each lesson builds onto the previous ones to enhance prior knowledge and help students retain vocabulary. Sentence builders are key elements of each lesson.
