It includes an introduction to alliteration with some tongue twisters to get them engaged. It follows up with a warm up activity and then moves on to the main content. The main task is about using alliteration to create poems, and follows up with a ‘dictionary’ of examples and terms they might want to use to get them started and give them some ideas.
I’ve included some screenshots to give you an idea of the quality before purchasing. A bargain at only £1.
I hope your students find it as fun as mine did.
Enjoy!
CHEAT SHEET for of Mice and Men GCSE English. Modified Character analysis, evaluation and quotes linked to common/recurring questions asked in past exam papers. Great for revision. Also with links and suggestions on how students can incorporate these in with the presentational features used, which students generally tend to lose marks for as described in countless examiners reports.
The cheat sheet is INCOMPLETE (on purpose) & I have left this file editable and I encourage your students to add their own ideas to create a revision resource individually tailored that to suit them well.
I may update this in the future. Feedback welcome & good luck to all students in the upcoming exams!
UPDATE: I've now attached a wordsearch (with answers in seperate file) too on the main key concepts, themes & characters. Have fun!
A Cross-curricular Black History Month Activity. Was designed with KS3 Students in mind, but suitable for KS2 and GCSE Also. It starts with a short video extract (7 minutes long) from the documentary ‘I am Bolt’, and follows up with discussion points, questions and extended writing activities.
Can be used as a whole standalone lesson or as part of a PSHE course or a black history month lesson.
Please comment, rate and subscribe if you found this useful as it really helps. We will be uploading resources throughout month and beyond so please subscribe and check back regularly. Thanks in advance and happy black history month!
