Over the last 15 years Alex has had a varied career at many charities and non-profits. With an academic background in zoology and climate change, she specialises in people-focused initiatives, project co-ordination and delivery, establishing long-term partnerships, mentoring and leading people. Her knowledge of climate science, community engagement methods and experience developing mutually beneficial relationships will drive forward the Coastal Communities Adapting Together project (CCAT), which aims to improve awareness of climate change and increase adaptive capacity and resilience across coastal communities in Ireland and Wales. As part of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum she is also committed to increasing positive behaviour change and strengthening connections between people and their environment.
