I am currently undertaking a PGCE in post compulsory education at the University of Portsmouth, Hampshire. I am looking to gain QTS by being employed as a NQT. I am not trained as subject specific, although Media is the degree i specialised in. I also have a combined degree with Creative Writing so also have English knowledge. I have always wanted to be a teacher within the college sector, teaching media which is what i am passionate about. I have had experience within Broadcast, print and journalism and would like to use my experiences within my teaching.
