Report card progress report comments for a Kinder class. The class I wrote these for were predominantly ESL so this aspect has also been included. These can be used directly or relevant parts can be cut and pasted. A time-saver for overworked teachers!!

A PowerPoint presentation I designed to introduce Napier's Rod as a multiplication strategy. Could be used as homework help or support for parents. A good and quick revision aid that can be edited.

Here are 14 example report card comments for year 3/4 or grade 3 students. These are for English/ELA and are differentiated. They can be combined to better reflect the students you are teaching.

Some sheets I used with a K5 class at the beginning of the year. Used to revise the letters of the alphabet and initial letter sounds. Could be used with 1st Grade/Year 1 lower ability children or ESL children. Good also as a formative assessment.

A simple sheet I used in Kindergarten (ESL children) where they had to estimate which container would have the biggest/smallest capacity, then measure by counting cups of water to fill each container. A fun activity to reinforce capacity.

This is a fun 39 slide PowerPoint focusing on Christmas traditions from 5 different countries. There is information and photos ending with a quiz, wordsearch and a task for students to complete. Could be used as a complete lesson or a time filler towards the end of term. Enjoy!

This is a 24 slide resource to introduce rounding to the nearest 10. There are explanations and examples as well as activities for the students. This is aimed at Year 2/3 children.

4 activities included: A wordsearch, colour by numbers, addition/subtraction code cracker and a dot-to-dot. Made for those end of term afternoons between Christmas play rehearsals etc when you just need a quick time filler. I hope it helps!

This is a PowerPoint presentation I made to teach the past participle. It includes the past participle (past perfect, present perfect), using the past participle as an adjective, as well as revision on the simple past (regular and irregular), types of adjectives (OSASCOMP), simple, compound and complex sentence practice. This is a back to school/New school year activity to promote talk and collaboration. The aim is that students go around and talk to other members of the class in order to find someone to fit each category. There are 2 differentiated versions - both editable.

A cut and paste activity to reinforce features of an advert in persuasive text units. Designed for LA Year 3 children. Children paste the examples under the subheadings and then write in some examples of their own (could be provided by the teacher)

3 differentiated levels. Worksheets reinforce partitioning to add using a numberline. Resource could be used to prepare children for mental strategies of addition. Worksheet includes an example for the children to refer to.

These resources ca be used to support the teaching of personification in poetry. I used these resources with a Year 3 class however they could be used up to Year 5.

This is a worksheet designed for year 3/4 when teaching explanatory texts. Each page has a different picture for the children to use, they will both describe what can be seen and explain what is happening in the picture. Resource can be used at any point in the unit.

Children generate adjectives, similes and metaphors from a range of picture prompts. Resource can be used as a follow up to whole class teaching. I used these as part of a poetry unit in Year 3.

Children locate right angles within the classroom. They record their findings in the table and then use their knowledge to visualize whether certain objects have right angles. Used in Year 2/3.

A variety of games, activities and resources for teaching basic Spanish. When I made these, one of the topics was teeth but these can be easily adapted to suit any topic. I made these resources for Year 3 but could be used from Year 1 up.

Grammar challenge! Can children fill the table with nouns, verbs and adjectives for each letter of the alphabet? A great activity for group or pair work to support understanding of parts of speech. I used this with Grade 3 but could be used up to Grade/Year 5
