This 8 page long worksheet was made for last minute revision for IGCSE Coordinated Science for pupils to go over the formulas. They are mostly physics, but also biology for magnification and chemistry mole calculations. There is a space for them to write the formula, an example question and a space for them to do their calculations. Those highlighted grey correspond to the Exended tier of IGCSE Coordinated science 0654. These are posters you can use to make a WAGOLL (What a Good One Looks Like) display for lab reports. I got pupils to choose their best examples and put them on the board along with an explanantion about why they were good.

A cover sheet for pupil assessments for AF2. It includes space for teacher comments, a level and pupils write their own improvements. VERY useful. This is a colouring and labelling activity where pupils have to label a life line which is to scale adding key vocabulary (childhood, adolescence, fertilisation etc.). It is differentiated into three different levels.

Here is the link to the upd8 website with the pupil activity. Pupils complete the activity in groups where they decide who they would like to give face transplants to. I assess my pupils in AF1 for this, they complete the word documents attached, there are 2 levels.

I tell my puils to research a particular dog breed. I give the poster frame for those who need it. They then answer questions for AF2 on the worksheet which has a level ladder.

This is a differentiated sheet where pupils have to order or fill in blanks for instructions of how to use a microscope. The extension would be to write instructions without this resource. Page 1 has the instructions in the correct order, I put them next to the microscopes. Page 2 the pupils have to cut out and put in the right order, Page 3 Pupils have to fill in the blanks with words provided.

Pupils take coloured pieces of paper of each of the nutrients. they pass to stations for each part of the digestive system with instructions. They cut the fats, proteins, and carbohydrates with scissors labeled with names of enzyme. In the small intestine they push the pieces through holes in a box labelled blood. In the end they deposit the fibre in a toilet (i draw it on the desk). The second document is an evaluation of the model, i use it in KS3 to assess for AF1.

These are two spreadsheets I have made for tracking in KS3. One is by unit which allows you to put in NC grades e.g. 4+,4-,3 for various pieces of work in a unit aswell as effort grades (in my school this is 1 to 5). The other one is by criteria where you only put in NC grades for pieces of work for up to 6 criteria. At the end it gives averages for each criteria, the 6th one has a 50% weighting. With either spreadsheet just hide any columns that you don´t need. The golden rules sheet is something I made for the staff who had lass experience with Excel.

This worksheet gets pupils to describe the differences between inhaled and exhaled air. They have to draw a graph of the data and draw the particles too as a challenge.

I ask my pupils to make a cell model for homework. In class they complete this sheet to evaluate the model. It has a level ladder and questions.

I put these cover sheets on pupils' lab reports when they hand them in and tick the statements they achieve. There is space to put the level they get and a teacher comment as well as improvements for the next piece of work. VERY useful please download. Here is a challenge homework sheet I prepared for my Year 6 class for the inheritance and evolution topic. They choose one idea and make a poster or leaflet to show their understanding of the topic. This could be used as a challenge/extension for higher ability pupils.

This is an activity where pupils cut out sugars, phosphates and bases and stick them together to make the structure of DNA and RNA. It can be used to illustrate nucleotide structure as well at the DNA/RNA Molecule.
