What was once Light and Sound has now been rebranded by AQA as part of their condensed KS3. Also included sheets that you may wish to print for your class This series of lessons contains: 1. Describing waves 2. Light and shadows (making a pinhole camera homework - could be an extra lesson) 3. Reflection 4. Refraction 5. Splitting light (dispersion) 6. Seeing colour 7. What is sound? 8. Sound waves 9. How we hear and see (could split into two lessons) 10. Loud speakers 11. Revision

When starting the Space topic with year 7 I print these in colour and on card to get them excited about the topic. I usually set a homework to send me a postcard from their trip describing what they have seen/ done/ felt. The ppt has 3 per page

Created for a year 9 class using the new AQA GCSE specification This resource is differentiated by task and also by time to be spent on each. Red activities = hardest, Orange = medium demand Green = easy The stars represent the time to be spent on each ( I change this depending on the ability of the group/ student e.g. each star represents 2 minutes) I usually display on the board and students work on A3 or print for lower ability classes. Could cut up and use as flashcards

AQA Trilogy P1 Energy revision

Made using the AQA Trilogy specification. Contains 2 slides of activities to complete for the P1 Energy topic - lots of tricky calculations to get to grips with and a good way of identifying which need to be revised. I give these out at the end of each topic and also before holidays for exam preparation. I have made the boxes equal sizes so that they can be blown up onto A3 card to create revision cards for intervention/ starters/ plenaries Maths skills and RPAs are incorporated More of these on the way for all AQA units, RPAs and maths skills. Feedback welcome
