Effective resource to revise and prepare for GCSE maths exam. Number and Algebra topics in three versions each: TN1.1 -> Test Number 1, version 1 TN1.2 -> Test Number 1, version 2 and so on. The questions can be practised in any format you wish; I use them by practising ten topics per week for three weeks to give each student a chance to master all of them. Students getting all questions right away will move on to the next set. Questions are short, extra working out can be presented on the back.

This fun worksheet is based on a flow chart of different types of equations. It’s a great resource to revise strategies used to solve equations, starting from fractional equations, equations with brackets, equations with the unknown on the both sides and finishing with a classic two-step equation. The resource should be printed double sided and folded inside along four dotted lines (see instructions how to fold the resource). When closed, the types of four equations are visible. To see the steps how to solve one of them, you can simply unfold one of the four corners. I love search and shades worksheets. The students are able to self-check by looking for the answer in the grid. Then, they shade the areas to create a design. I use this one to practise the order of operations. It consists of 20 questions at different levels of difficulty. Besides BODMAS, your students will have to know some basic facts about adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing with negative integers and fractions.
