It’s a reading comprehension masquerading as a vocabulary unit! It’s aimed at Key Stage 3 students who already have a good grasp of basic sentence structure, but would make for a good transitional activity for Key Stage 4 too. It’s a fun extension task when you’ve gone through the usual pets vocab, too. Additionally, the multi-task format makes it an ideal homework or cover lesson activity. There is an answer key page included, so the worksheet can be used by non-specialists .
