This simple and student-friendly worksheet includes 20 questions that students will simply write greater than , less than, or equal to (, =) for each of the questions. This can easily be adapted for a quiz, test, exit ticket, homework, independent assignment and so much more. As students develop their competencies as they pertain to Invitation Letters, this assessment will check their understandings, of the key components of such letters. The assessment starts with directions, to students know what to do, to be successful, followed by a short paragraph explaining the conditions of the event. The bottom portion of the assessment includes prompts for students to dive into the story and draw out the important components that need to be included in an invitation. This can easily serve as a worksheet for independent work, small group, whole group, homework or as a quiz, test, or exit ticket.

Check out this multipurpose organizer that has a fram at the top for students to place a visual and then lines down below for them to write. This can be a great way to activate students' prior knowledge about a topic in which they draw a memory or something they think of related to the topic, and then describe what they have drawn. By default, this gives students variety in the format they present their knowledge. It can alos be used for homework, an exit ticket, end of unit summary and so much more. It comes in four different formats for differentiation to different grade levels or ability levels!

Have your kids had a struggle learning their mutliplication facts? This song and chant version of rolling numbers offers an amazing alternative for students. Students from all walks of life have huge capacity in increasing their memory when a beat or song is attached to it. Though these lyrics have been adapted for my students, I highly encourage you to adapt them as you need to meet your students' needs. Included you will find the lyrics for 2s through 12s as well as a link to the video supplement on youtube which you can use to help you and your students! We hope you have a blast! Add a level of accountability to your group work by simply infusing this student friendly assessment each time. With up to five peers, (or four if you want to including students reflecting on themselves) students will evaluate their peers in four key areas. Each area has a 1, 2, and 3 totaling a possibility of a max of 12 for each partner. These areas include participation, behavior, on task, and work. This is a great way for the students to feel responsible for their actions as well as for the teacher to gain insight into each student's contribution.

Quantifying the results of science fair or stem fair is always difficult since there are so many pieces that go into it. Check out this four part rubric that allows for 1-4 points for each section. Students can score a total of 16 points which can then be multiple by 6.25 to be out of 100. This rubric is broken into the following sections: Display, Demonstration/Presentation, Scientific Thought, and Skill. Each domain has a clear explanation of the expectations for each of the four points that are possible. This is a great way to be transparent and provide feedback for students to reflect and improve on. Be sure to check out our other Science Fair resources as well!

Flip the discourse around by creating a positive environment around behavior. Praising the positive and focusing on the students doing the right thing is aligned to the PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions & Support). This is a great way to allow those students who often slip through the cracks for doing the right thing, receive the recognition they deserve. Formatted very similar to the tradition behavior report, there is a section for the location, character trait that was identified such as grit, honesty, humility, teamwork and much more. There is a section for the teacher comments, and then an administrators comments. This can then be sent home for parents to see the great things their child has done.
