These are my slides I’ve prepared for my lessons this term for Stage 4 (Year 7 and 8). I used Pearson Science 8 textbook as my reference material as well as youtube clips included in the slides.

Worksheet to help students see the importance of following safety expectations and give students awareness of hazards and risky behaviour. The second page is an agreement that the student acknowledges the safety and behaviooural expectation within the science lab. This can be modified to suit your classroom.

Fun experiment where students will use the science of crystal making to create a unique candy cane ornament to decorate their tree. This comes with instructions for the teacher and worksheets for students to use the scientific method for this practical activity. This is a fun STEM activity to engage students in the wonder of science with the festive Christmas season.

These are worksheets that I've created to go along with the first case in for the CSI experience (free online resource http://forensics.rice.edu/index.html) In this activity, students can explore forensic science by cases they get to experience online with the original CSI cast. Students will have to create an account on the website, and it is free. The answers has not been included, however, if this becomes a popular resource, I'll add it at some point.

This contains worksheets for Case One and Two based on the game http://forensics.rice.edu/. Students will be taken though basic forensic techniques using the familiar CSI characters to engage in their learning and understanding of forensics. I’ve used these resources in the past as extra work for my advanced students.

This is a PowerPoint lesson that is a part of the unit Earth Resources for stage 4 (Year 7/8). This takes a look into the water cycle and different ways in which water is managed specifically in Australia. This follows the Australian Curriculum for Science.
