While the content is appropriate for experiences of soldiers from across Britain, some activities are tailored towards the Scottish examination system. As I operate a mixed class, there are activities designed for both National 4 and National 5 included within the lesson. Students will take notes on reasons for food shortages and why rationing was introduced - along with other methods used to address the shortages and a timeline of these changes. Activities include examining impacts on local area - change area name to suit! Following this, students have practice exam source questions and a knowledge revision quiz
