This is a handy and clever resource. Students fill in the character profiles and design costumes on the templates (examples are given), once the templates are brimming with information, cut out, laminate and place on a key ring. It’s perfect to accompany essay writing/homework, and perfect for revision when students can flick through on the school bus, in the playground or even in detention!

Set predominantly in the Warsaw Ghetto, Names in a Jar is a dramatisation of the story of Polish nurse, Irena Sendler, who served in the Polish Underground in German-occupied Warsaw during World War ll. She smuggled approximately 2,500 Jewish children out of the Ghetto and then provided them with false identity documents and shelter, saving those children from the Holocaust.
