I have an education career spanning 19 years teaching hundreds of pupils, often in some of London's most challenging schools. I have earned British Dyslexia Association Approved Teacher Status: certification to teach those with specific learning difficulties. I have developed expertise in helping students with complex educational needs including emotional behaviour conditions; mentored students with learning difficulties and taught and tutored autistic students for extended periods. My experience includes: KS2 phase leader; Head of English GCSE; Head of Entry Level Humanities; KS2 Literacy Coordinator as well as class teaching in one of England’s original ‘Delicate’ schools. I continually seeking professional and personal improvement by the most effective means possible. I am currently working as a specialist intervention teacher in KS2.
